When the original owner, Sigmund Lekan, had a tough time selling "Boston Roasts," he invented the "Honeymoon Pot Roast." The honeymoon pot roast is taken from the chuck end of the beef shoulder and rests up next to the rib roast, providing excellent flavor and tenderness.
All pot roasts come from the shoulder of the steer which is located in the shoulder. Some call it a 7-bone pot roast due to the shape of its bone!
Flavorful for pot roast, roast beef sandwiches, or a beef roast in general!
